About Us
Our founder Michelle S. Hawkins has a long international career as a trader and on the policy side. She has exported auto parts and imported goods. Her skill set has included writing the Detriot City Council's policy on international trade.
She obtained her international trade specialist certification in Washington, D.C. Ms. Hawkins went on to serve on the Michigan District Export Council and as a co-chair with Richard Oster to the African Development Foundations advisory board. She has continued to help businesses go international through training seminars and one-on-one counseling. Her ultimate goal is to help 10,000 women-owned businesses to take their products and services internationally.
